Below are letters from a father and his far-away schooling son.
Dear son,
I wrote this letter very slowly, because we know that you read slowly.
Your mom and I have moved, but the address does not change. When we moved, we also took the door number plate with us.
It rained twice this week. The first time it rained three days and the second time four days.
Yesterday, when we were buying pizza, the shop person asked whether to cut it into 8 or 12 pieces. I told him that 8 was enough because we could not finish 12 pieces.
I have sent you a jacket. I was afraid that it was over weighted; therefore I cut the buttons. I put them inside the jacket pocket.
I originally wanted to send you some money. However, the envelope was already sealed.
Love,
Dad

Dear Dad,
I also wrote this letter slowly, because I cannot write very fast.
Since you took the address plate when you moved, I worried that you cannot receive this letter because the mail man cannot find you. Instead I sent this letter to a friend and passed it to you.
When I go to buy pizza, I usually ask the shop person to cut it into 16 pieces so I have enough to eat.
I received the jacket you sent me and it is not over weighted. I sewed the buttons back slowly because I was afraid that the mail man may come back to check on it.
You don’t have to worry about me on money. I found some part time jobs and only have to work twice a week. The beginning of the week, I work 3 days and the rest of the week I work 4 days.
I originally wanted to show you a paycheck I made from works. However, I already sent the letter.
Love,
Son
